Ryan Reynolds sarà il Detective Pikachu nel film ispirato ai Pokémon

THR riporta che Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool, Green Lantern) si unirà al cast del film "Pokemon" Detective Pikachu. Insieme a lui troveremo anche Justice Smith (The Get Down, Paper Towns) e Kathryn Newton (Big Little Lies, Supernatural). Reynolds interpreterà il protagonista Detective Pikachu in motion capture. La storia vedrà il personaggio interpretato da Smith chiedere aiuto a Pikachu per indagare sul rapimento del padre. Newton, invece, sarà una giornalista che li aiuterà nelle indagini.

Il film The Legendary Entertainment e The Pokémon Company è diretto da Rob Letterman su una sceneggiatura di Nicole Perlman e Alex Hirsch.
