La Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror Films ha diffusa la lista dei candidati ai Saturn Award che si svolgeranno il prossimo 20 giugno.
X-Men: L'inizio ha ricevuto due nomination nelle categorie "Best Science Fiction Film” e “Best Make-Up”, mentre Captain America: The First Avenger ha avuto ben sei nomination nelle categorie "Best Science Fiction Film", "Best Actor" (Chris Evans), "Best supporting actor" (Stanley Tucci), "Best Music" (Alan Silvestri), "Best Production Design" (Rick Heinrichs), "Best Costume" (Anna B. Sheppard) e "Best Special Effects" (Mark Soper, Christopher Townsend e Paul Corbould ).
Quattro nomination anche per Thor nella categoria "Best Fantasy Film" e "Best Supporting Actor" (Tom Hiddleston) e "Best Production Design" (Bo Welch). "Best Costume" (Alexandra Byrne) e una nomination per Cowboys & Aliens nella categoria "Best Supporting Actor" (Harrison Ford).
Infine, Le Avventure di Tintin: Il segreto dell'Unicorno ha ricevuto sei nomination nelle categorie "Best Director" (Steven Spielberg), "Best Music" (John Williams), "Best Production Design" (Kim Sinclair), "Best Editing" )Michael Kahn), "Best Special Effects" (Scott E. Anderson, Matt Aitken, Joe Letteri, Matthias Menz e Keith Miller) e infine "Best Animated Film".
