Jim Shooter sulla chiusura di Legion of Super-Heroes

Come vi abbiamo riferito qualche giorno fa, Legion of Super-Heroes chiuderà con il numero 50. Di seguito trovate una dichiarazione in esclusiva per Comicus rilasciata dal'ormai ex-scrittore della Legion, Jim Shooter:
"Avevo avuto dei contenziosi con la DC sei o sette mesi fa, ma la tempesta si era calmata più o meno.Credo che comunque qualche risentimento sia rimasto alla DC. Sono stato informato all'inizio di agosto che Legion of Super-Heroes sarebbe stata cancellata per vendite basse. Non era una sorpresa, le vendite della DC in generale sono deboli e quella dell LSH non fanno eccezione.
È anche possibile che la chiusura di Legion of Super-Heroes sia, in parte, un modo grazioso per sbarazzarsi di me. A Francis Manapul e a John Livesay sono stati offerti altri lavori. A me niente.
Non ho idea di quali saranno i piani della DC per Legion of Super-Heroes dopo la mia run. Credo che la serie verrà rilanciata in qualche modo con un nuovo team creativo. Legion of Super-Heroes non è solo un perno della DC, sono anche fra i personaggi preferiti di Paul Levitz.
Geoff Johns ovviamente ha un interesse per la Legion of Super-Heroes, forse gliela lasceranno fare."
