Dal San Diego Comic-Con piovono trailer e informazioni sulle nuove stagioni delle principali serie basate su proprietà DC Comics come Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl e Legends of Tomorrow per la The CW e un teaser della quarta stagione per Gotham della 20th Century Fox. Trovate tutto qui sotto.

Riguardo a queste serie sono anche state rese note alcune informazioni sul cast delle prossime stagioni.

Nella sesta stagione di Arrow vedremo il ritorno di David Nykl, mentore/nemesi di Oliver Queen, e in aggiunta Michael Emerson (Lost) entrerà nel cast in un ruolo ricorrente ancora avvolto nel mistero.
La serie ricomincerà il 12 ottobre su The CW.
Nella quarta stagione di The Flash invece il villain sarà The Thinker, il Pensatore, e sarà interpretato da Neil Sandilands; si aggiungono al cast anche Danny Trejo nel ruolo di Breacher, un cacciatore di taglie di Terra-19 e padre di Gypsy (Jessica Camacho), e Kim Engelbrecht nel ruolo di The Mechanic, ossia il braccio destro del Pensatore.
La serie ricomincerà il 10 ottobre su The CW.
Nella terza stagione di DC's Legends of Tomorrow vedremo invece il ritorno come guest star di Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) e Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), e di Neal McDonough nei panni del villain Damien Darhk.

Nella terza stagione di Supergirl invece entrano nel cast Adrian Pasdar (Morgan Edge), uno spietato capitalista che non si fermerà davanti a nulla, Carl Lumbly (M’yrnn J’onzz), il padre di J’onn J’onnz, ossia Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), Yael Grobglas (Psi), un villain in grado di controllare la mente delle persone, e Emma Tremblay (Ruby), una giovane e intelligente ragazzina pazza di Supergirl.
Supergirl tornerà il 9 ottobre su The CW.

The CW ha anche svelato alcune novità sulla suo nuova serie Black Lightning che debutterà nella midseason autunnale. Due sono i nuovi ingressi nel cast: James Remar (Peter Gambi), amico di lunga data, mentore e padre spirituale del protagonista Jefferson Pierce, e Damon Gupton (Ispettore Henderson). Lasciando da parte gli eroi DC, anche Riverdale ha avuto la sua parte al Comic-Con, dove è stato presentato il trailer della seconda stagione, sempre su The CW. Nel video anche gli errori della prima stagione.

Infine, per quanto riguarda la terza stagione di Lucifer della Fox, apprendiamo la notizia dell'ingresso nel cast di Tom Welling, il Clark Kent della serie Smalville, nel ruolo di Marcus Pierce, un poliziotto che al contempo presenta tratti opposti a quelli di Lucifer ma anche molte similitudini, tra cui il fascino, che porteranno i due a scontrarsi per conquistare Decker.

Come da tradizione, durante il San Diego Comic-Con vengono assegnati i premi più prestigiosi del fumetto internazionale, spesso etichettati come gli Oscar del Fumetto. Di seguito trovate la lista delle diverse sezioni dei premi con in grassetto il vincitore.
Si osserva facilmente come ancora una volta Fiona Staples e Brian K. Vaughan fanno incetta di premi, con 4 Eisner ottenuti, seguiti da Tom King che con la sua Visione e il suo Batman si porta a casa due ambiti premi.
Sorpresa della serata di premiazione sono stati i tre premi assegnati all'artista di Singapore Sonny Liew che con il suo The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye si è guadagnato un ottimo risultato.

Nel reboot animato di Ducktales, che partirà il 12 agosto con un film di un'ora per poi proseguire a settembre su Disney XD, farà la sua comparsa anche Darkwing Duck, sempre con Gosalyn al suo fianco. L'annuncio è avvenuto al SDCC in questi giorni, anche se al momento non è noto nient'altro.

Questa scelta permetterà quindi per la prima volta l'unificazione dei due universi narrativi separati che erano presenti nelle rispettive serie della fine degli anni'80 e inizio dei '90, già collegati dalla presenza comune di Jet McQuack, ma mai effettivamente congiunti.
In passato più volte si è parlato di universo alternativo con i medesimi personaggi ma in cui non sono ambientate le stesse storie, ma sembra che ora la Disney abbia unito le due cose.

Durante i diversi panel tenutisi in questi giorni al San Diego Comic-Con, sono stati svelati e successivamente diffusi in rete diversi trailer delle nuove serie TV e delle prossime stagioni, tra cui alcune delle più attese tra i fan dei fumetti di casa Marvel e DC Comics. Potete trovare quindi di seguito il secondo trailer di Marvel's The Defenders, la serie crossover nata in collaborazione con Netflix, The Gifted, la nuova serie Fox sui mutanti, la seconda stagione di Preacher della AMC, già cominciata da qualche settimana e anche delle anticipazioni sui prossimi episodi della settima stagione di Game of Thrones.
