"Per celebrare il ONE PIECE DAY, la giornata mondiale di Shueisha dedicata al manga più popolare della storia, Netflix rilascia il trailer della serie live-action ONE PIECE, che sarà disponibile dal 31 agosto 2023 in tutti i Paesi in cui il servizio è attivo.

Ad accompagnare il trailer, una nuova lettera del Maestro Eiichiro Oda, nella quale il creatore del fenomeno globale condivide i suoi pensieri sull’adattamento in live-action, sulla produzione, sulle differenze con il manga e sul cast.

SINOSSI

Basato sulla serie manga più venduta di sempre in Giappone creata da Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE è una leggendaria avventura di mare come nessun’altra. Monkey D. Luffy è un giovane avventuriero che ha sempre sognato una vita di libertà. Luffy parte dal suo piccolo villaggio per affrontare un pericoloso viaggio alla ricerca di un leggendario tesoro, il ONE PIECE, per diventare il Re dei Pirati. Ma, per trovare il bottino, Luffy dovrà riunire l’equipaggio che ha sempre desiderato e trovare una nave su cui salpare, perlustrando ogni centimetro dei vasti mari, scampando ai Marines, e superando in astuzia pericolosi rivali ad ogni occasione.

A comporre la ciurma saranno Iñaki Godoy nei panni del capitano Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp) e Taz Skylar (Sanji).

Fin dal suo esordio su Werewolf By Night #32 del 1975, Marc Spector e i suoi alter sono stati Moon Knight, ma ora sembra che le cose stiano per cambiare. La Marvel, infatti, ha annunciato la un arco narrativo dal titolo The Last Days of Moon Knight" che verrà lanciato entro la fine dell'anno e che vederà la morte di Marc Spector e l'ascesa di un nuovo Moon Knight.

"The Last Days of Moon Knight vedrà Moon Knight impegnato in una corsa mortale per intercettare lo Spettro Nero prima che i suoi piani apocalittici diano i loro frutti, ma il tempo stringe e una città è in bilico. E quando la polvere si poserà, un nuovo vendicatore nascerà", si legge nell'annuncio ufficiale della Marvel.

La casa editrice, inoltre, pubblicherà da domani la miniserie di 5 Moon Knight: City of the Dead #1, ad opera di David Pepose e Marcelo Ferreira, che invierà Marc Spector negli inferi: che ci sia una connessione?

Moon Knight #28 di Jed MacKay e Alessandro Cappuccio sarà in vendita il 18 ottobre con una copertina di Stephen Segovia.

Appena qualche settimana fa vi avevamo parlato della morte di Kamala Khan avvenuta sulle pagine di Amazing Spider-Man #26 e della successiva pubblicazione dello speciale Fallen Friend: The Death of Ms. Marvel. Ora, a pochi giorni dalla pubblicazione dello one shot, la Marvel ha annunciato una miniserie che vede il ritorno dell'eroina.

Kamala Khan sarà infatti protagonista di Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant, mini di 4 che, come si evince dal titolo, porterà anche a enormi cambiamenti. Kamala, infatti, rinascerà come mutante.

Come si legge dalla sinossi diffusa dalla Marvel, infatti "Dopo essere stata riportata in vita grazie alla tecnologia di resurrezione di Krakoa, Kamala è scioccata nell'apprendere di essere una mutante. Ma prima che abbia la possibilità di venire a patti con questa rivelazione, la catastrofica Fall Of X getterà il suo mondo nel caos... e in una missione segreta per conto degli X-Men".

Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant, avvicinerà il personaggio dei fumetti a quello del MCU e non a caso a co-scrivere la mini troveremo l'attrice che interpreta l'eroina Iman Vellani insieme allo sceneggiatore della serie tv Sabir Pirzada. Carlos Gomez e Adam Gorham disegneranno il tutto per le copertine di Sara Pichelli.

"Voglio chiarire molto, molto chiaramente che non stiamo eliminando la sua origine inumana", ha dichiarato la Vellani a Entertainment Weekly. "Questa è una parte dell'identità di Kamala che la Marvel e io vorremmo mantenere e proteggere".

La serie vedrà l'esordio anche di un nuovo costume per Ms. Marvel, con il logo "X", ideato da Jamie McKelvie.

La storia del ritorno di Kamala Khan inizierà nel one-shot X-Men: Hellfire Gala #1 in uscita il 26 luglio. Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant #1 uscirà invece il prossimo 30 agosto. Di seguito la variant ad opera di Artgerm.
